ICT Strategic Services was founded in 2004 as a vehicle for working with the ICT industry in Australia, particularly focusing on the second tier of the industry. Our clients vary widely, but are generally organisations which have passed the first hurdles of building, as a business. Commonly, we work with organisations that:

»Focus on business in IT or Telecommunications Services or Products (or both);

»Are substantial enough to have a clear and meaningful set of accounts
(revenues above A$3M);

»Have grown beyond the individual scope of the proprietor or founder;

»Are not yet large enough for the attention of the major investment banks and
corporate advisory firms (revenues below A$100-150M).

 

Our most common projects, and those where we add the most value include:

»Assisting business owners to prepare their business for sale, source and approach appropriate buyers, negotiate and structure an appropriate deal, and manage the due diligence and sale process;

»Pro-actively sourcing and approaching acquisition targets that fit a prospective buyer’s strategic requirements, negotiating and documenting an appropriate deal, and managing the due diligence process;

»Working with senior management to build or review business strategy, based on an understanding of what others in the industry are doing and where gaps and opportunities exist in the service offerings of competitors, partners or other players;

»Other projects that require an understanding of the industry and those in it, including pro-actively building that understanding in specialist areas or niches, through research and discussions with the principals and managers of relevant businesses.
